Start to put your hands low and and let him follow, soon he will be giving the neck and come beutiful down. if the horse tries to take the rains out of your hands, push back and never give it up until he gives the neck. when u are dealing with this, look out if the horse is training to go faster, slow him down and keep him on the same speed. when he/she gives the neck, you can slow him down and collect him but pay atention, do this slowly :)

What happens the next time you try to catch it? Now he knows that trick and you have to come up with some toher sneaky trick for the next time. Eventually it will take you over an hour to catch your horse. When your horse has his eyes on you back up. When your horse isn't looking at you put pressure on them by waving your lunge whip or something to get their attention. The first time will take a while, but it will get easier every time. You just have to make sure you walk away from the horse when it looks at you. You can also try standing in the pasture reading a book. Horses are very curious and wont understand why you are doing the opposite of what you usually do. When they come up to you give them treats and dont touch them. Just do the opposite of what you normally would think of doing.

Your horse is trying to see how quickly you will give up when he doesn't back away. You have to be persistent. If he moves forward after backing up, back him up agian, and again and again, until he stands there. He is invading your personal space and that can become dangerous. Take a crop and lightly tap the air in front of him, then very lightly tap his chest, a tiny bit harder until he moves back. You dont want to hurt your horse, just show you are serious.
