My mare itches and scratshes herself in the summer. Main areas are around the tail, mane and abit on the back.

Don't know if it's the insects she reacts to, or the sun. Tryed alot of things.

She gets dry skin, looses the hair/itches it off against a tree etc, and get's almost like small sores/wounds, almost like a dessert that is hard and dry, got those cracks.

She gets anoyed too, and I don't find that especially fun.

Does anyone know about anything that can help?

Have tried alot of things, now just trying a shampo called keratolux. hoping it to work...
